23rd International Festival “The Days of Organ – Dies organorum”: MILKICA RADOVANOVIC
Organist and pianist Milkica Radovanović, after studying at the University of Niš, continued her education at the University of Stavanger, where she obtained a master’s degree in organ and piano. As a versatile musician, she performs intensively throughout Norway and Scandinavia.
Her concert in Belgrade is supported by the Fund for Performing Arts and Kulturdirekoteratet (Arts and Culture Norway).

Biography:
Organist and pianist Milkica Radovanovic is a versatile soloist and chamber musician with a broad range of musical interests, ranging from baroque to contemporary music. She has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and with an orchestra in a wide variety of international concert venues and churches. She was semi-finalist of the International Bach Competition in Leipzig in 2018, finalist of the Nordic Organ Competition in 2021, and she is a multiple prizewinner at international piano competitions.
She was honored with the highest prize awarded by the University of Nis – Silver Award for being the best graduated student and two times she was presented with the Gold Award by the City of Nis as being the best student. She has also received the honor presented by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II, for excellent achievements in High School.
Milkica Radovanovic has a Master degree in Organ Performance from the University of Stavanger studying with Vidar Vikøren, Inger-Lise Ulsrud and Bjørn Andor Drage. Prior to this she was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma and Master degree with distinction in Piano Performance at the same University where she was under the tutelage of Erling R. Eriksen and Daniel Röhm. She passed her diploma and concert exam with “excellence” and got a praise for extraordinary achievements at the Master and Postgraduate studies. Previously she studied in Serbia where she worked with Aleksandar Serdar and Hristina Vukovic.
Milkica Radovanovic’s Bach performances have drawn particular praise, marking her out as one of the interpreters who brings out the strength, intelligence and the refinement of touch in Bach’s music. Milkica is also very passionate about teaching and she is constantly developing and improving as a distinguished piano and organ teacher. Currently she lives in Norway, where she is working as a piano and organ teacher at Ullensaker Kulturskole.
