The film Živko Nikolić – unfulfilled dream is the story of the last, unfinished work of the great Montenegrin and Yugoslav filmmaker Živko Nikolić. It is about a material that will see the light of day for the first time after almost 30 years. Through several narrative lines, using archival materials, new footage and recorded interviews, the film brings Nikolić’s work closer to a wider audience. We will be guided through the film by Živko’s son Petar, who will reveal more details about the relationship with his father, their conversations, dreams, desires, dreamed during the turbulent nineties. In addition to him, the film also features actors who collaborated on Nikolić’s last film. It was filmed in Nikšić, Podgorica, Belgrade and New York.
