The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in cooperation with the Serbian Medical Association and the Cultural Center of Belgrad organizing a screening of a film about Dr. Ludwik Hirschfeld, a Polish doctor who lived and worked in Serbia during the First World War.
MENSCH is the story of Dr. Ludwig Hirschfeld, an exceptional doctor, his faith in science and his desire to help. This is a testimony of not giving up in difficult times of war, the struggle for scientific achievements that will serve humanity. However, this is also a film about the true love story of two doctors, about support on the thorny road to those who need help the most.
* The film was partly filmed in Serbia in Valjevo, and members of the Serbian Medical Association participated in the filming, among others, and Dr. Zoran Vacić.
* The film is shown with subtitles in Serbian and English.
* Representatives of the Serbian Medical Association and director Pawel Wysoczański will participate in the discussion after the film screening.
