Biography:
Jelena Đajić-Levajac (Belgrade, 1972) completed her elementary and secondary music education at the Music school “Mokranjac”, in the class of professor Vukica Viličić. She enrolled in the Faculty of Music in 1988, in the class of Mirjana Šuica- Babić, graduating with the highest mark. She pursued her Master’s Degree at the “Hochschule der Kunste” in Berlin, in the class of professor Elena Lapitskaja, while simultaneously attending the Master’s program at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Mirjana Šuica-Babić. She attended the courses organized by the renowned professors and pianists, such as: Jelena Richter, Dmitri Bashkirov, Martin Hughes and Klaus Hellwig. She gained further professional advancement in collaboration with professors Marina Wolf and Alexander Chandler at the “N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov” Saint Petersburg State Conservatory.

She performed as a soloist and as a member of a chamber ensemble in many well-known concert halls in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Sremska Mitrovica, etc. She also performed in Montenegro, Republika Srpska, Germany, Russia, and Italy. She made many recordings for Serbian and Montenegrin Radio and TV as well as for Šabac, Valjevo and many other Radio and TV broadcasters. She also made appearance in many radio and TV art programs and shows.

She’s a member of a piano quartet Weissburg and a piano duo Mezzo. Furthermore, as a professional accompanist, she has performed and collaborated with many renowned opera artists in Serbia and abroad. In addition, she collaborated with numerous well-known musicians, as well as with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, RTS Symphony Orchestra, Dušan Skovran string orchestra. She also collaborated with conductors such as A. Shurev, Ana Zorana Brajović, Željka Milanović.
